22 Things Jesus Would Say..

Feeling overwhelmed in motherhood? These 22 gentle truths from Jesus—paired with Scripture and encouragement—are for the woman right in the middle of the chaos.

*Save, share, and be refreshed.

Hey friend,

You’re not alone if you’re reading this while the house is loud, your heart feels heavy, and you’re running on empty. Motherhood is sacred, beautiful, and exhausting all at once.

In the middle of the weariness, Jesus sees you.

I created this series of 22 cards as soft reminders of His nearness, grace, and love for tired moms like us. Each one pairs a compassionate truth with Scripture and a short word of encouragement..

First of all… breathe.

Seriously. Take one slow, deep breath.

I know that sounds simple, but when you reach that point of complete overwhelm, sometimes you don’t even realize you’ve been holding your breath. At least I didn’t.

I know what it feels like when the stress has been building for so long that it isn’t just in your mind anymore — it’s in your chest, your shoulders, your stomach, your jaw. It’s like your whole body is carrying the weight of trying to survive another day.

There were seasons where I honestly felt like I could completely lose it. Not because I didn’t love my kids— I loved them more than anything—but because I had been carrying so much for so long that I didn’t know how to keep going.

I was trying to raise my children while constantly navigating chaos, stress, and things no family should have to carry. I spent so much of my energy just trying to make it through each day that somewhere along the way, I stopped really living.

Then one day I looked up…

My babies weren’t babies anymore. That realization broke something in me.

I let so much of my attention, my peace, and my energy be consumed by circumstances I couldn’t control. I can’t get those years back… I can’t relive the moments, I wish had looked different.

But God has been teaching me something I’m still learning every single day:

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Today is where His grace meets me.

Maybe today won’t be perfect. Maybe there will still be meltdowns, dishes in the sink, laundry on the couch, and tears before bedtime.

But today I can choose to be present. I can laugh with my kids. I can hold them a little longer. I can ask Jesus for strength for this moment instead of worrying about every moment that hasn’t happened yet.

If that’s where you are today, I hope these reminders feel like a deep breath for your soul, and that you find peace and a new way forward. Please reach out if I can do anything for you.

Final Encouragement

Dear mama, this season won’t last forever, but the God who carries you will. You are doing sacred work even on the hardest days. The midnight prayers, the meals made with love, the tears wiped, the forgiveness offered after you snap—these matter.

Let Jesus restore you, one gentle step at a time.

You are seen, you are loved, and you are becoming exactly who He created you to be.

A Prayer for Every Tired Mom

Jesus, I’m tired. I feel empty and overwhelmed. Thank You that I don’t have to hide it from You. Come into my weariness. Restore my soul. Teach me to mother from Your strength instead of my own. Remind me I am loved not for what I do, but because I am Yours. Give me grace for today and hope for tomorrow. Thank you Lord, In Jesus Name 🙏🏼
